Where does Winter Blast Weekend take place?

Winter Blast Weekend presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort has made the move to Downtown Royal Oak this year!

What are the dates and times of the 2023 Winter Blast ?

The festival will run from February 2nd - 4th, 2024

Friday, February 2nd: 4pm-11pm

Saturday, February 3rd: 11am-11pm

Sunday, February 4th: 11am-8pm

Is there an admission fee for Winter Blast?

No, the event is free to enter!

How much do activities cost at Winter Blast ?

Zipline rides are $15 and ice skating rental is $5. There will be no charge for ice skating during Winter Blast

What sizes are rental skates available in? Can I bring my own?

Rental skates are available for $5 in sizes 9 & up for kids and up to size 14 for adults. You are allowed to bring your own skates if you would like.

Where do I go to check-in as an event volunteer?

Beverage volunteers should check-in with their onsite booth manager. If you need more information, please email Shannon Wojtas.

Are bags allowed?

Yes, but please note that all bags and backpacks are subject to search at the gate. You may not bring in any coolers, food, beverages, bikes, skateboards, pets or unlawful weapons.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed within the festival gates, however, they are not permitted in any of the heated Comfort Zones. There will be screens on the outside of each heated Comfort Zone to ensure you don’t miss the incredible entertainment we have on our stages throughout the weekend!

I’m not sure where to park, what do you suggest?

Downtown Royal Oak has many parking lots and structures to choose from! The 11 Mile Structure is just steps away from Centennial Commons, the Rink at Royal Oak and Winter Blast. Find a complete list here.
