1. City of Detroit Parking and Premier Garage
The City of Detroit is providing a special discount February 8-10, 2008 in honor of the return of Detroit’s Winter Blast! For 3 days only, parking in all Detroit Operated Municipal lots will be only $5.

The most convenient Detroit Garage is the Premier Garage located on Gratiot with the entrance just east of (before) Woodward.

Directions to Premier Garage:
Take 375 South to Madison Exit (exit on left side). Make a left onto Beaubian Street, and a Right onto Gratiot Avenue. Take Gratiot East and Premier Garage Entrance is just past Farmer Street on the right hand side.

2. Compuware World Headquarters Parking Garage

We would also like to encourage our guests to use the Compuware Parking Garage as the best place to park for the Winter Blast. Compuware is located right in the heart of all the excitement at Detroit’s Winter Blast. Parking will be available for the special rate of $5.

Directions to Compuware Parking Garage:
Take 375 South to Madison Exit (exit on left side). Make a left onto Beaubian Street, and a Right onto Gratiot Avenue. Take Gratiot to Farmer and make a left. The entrance to the Compuware parking structure will be on your left hand side.

3. Kennedy Square Parking right near Campus Martius
(Best location if you are coming from the Lodge Freeway, or coming from West and exiting onto Lodge)

We would also like to encourage our guests to use the Kennedy Square Garage located on Griswald between Fort and Lafayette. Parking is only $5 there as well.

From the Lodge: Take the Lodge South until it ends on Jefferson. Take an immediate left on Griswald. Go three blocks and Kennedy Garage is just on your right past Fort St.

Activities for this year's Detroit Winter Blast can't be covered in one day - so we'll make it easy for you to come back the entire weekend! Purchase a “Blast Pass” and take the Detroit People Mover to the Winter Blast! For a special, low price of $3, a Blast Pass gives you unlimited rides on the Detroit People Mover (DPM) from Friday, Feb. 8 through Sunday, Feb. 10.

People Mover Stations are located steps from the Detroit Winter Blast stages, tents, activities and parking - and we're open until 2 AM on Fridays & Saturdays!
Three People Mover Stations are in close proximity to Detroit’s Winter Blast:

• Cadillac Center
• Broadway
• Financial District

The People Mover is one of the best options for taking advantage of our Dine in the D program at a local restaurant, enjoying the shops at the Wintergarden, stopping at the theaters and museums in the museum district, and then bringing the whole family down to the festival site!

Friday 6:30AM- 2:00AM
Saturday 9:00AM- 2:00AM
Sunday 10AM - Midnight
