The Pure Michigan Winter Experience, sponsored by MGM Grand Detroit, brings the state’s great outdoor traditions to Downtown Detroit with a winter-themed environment that features the michigan.org 200-foot snow slide, dog sledding exhibitions, snowboarding exhibitions, and snowshoeing. Everyone that visits the Winter Blast must take a turn at the 200-foot snow slide!

There's only one weekend when you can enjoy free ice skating at Campus Martius Park, and that's during Winter Blast. Ice-skating will be provided free to the public courtesy of Compuware Corporation.
